5 Steps to Better Listening
First-rate listening skills are the number one asset branch staff bring to their jobs. Great listening leads to a better understanding of customer needs and the opportunity to fulfill those needs with appropriate solutions.

Here are five ways to boost listening skills:

  1. Let customers fully finish what they are saying before speaking
  2. Don't interrupt
  3. Don't get distracted
  4. Actually reiterate what a customer has said
  5. Ask open-ended questions to gain a complete understanding of what a customer is saying
