Get Ready for Lowest Price Guarantee
LendingTree is launching a test marketing campaign that will guarantee customers the lowest price on their loan through LendingTree. We expect to drive volume by instilling trust in skeptical consumers and motivating them to call or visit LendingTree.
Focus group studies have played a large role in planning this campaign. We have learned that a low price guarantee is the number one reason to believe that LendingTree, and our network lenders, can provide the lowest price - and therefore earn the business. Data shows that LendingTree lenders consistently beat the national average on rate.
The test launch will run for 30 days beginning on June 1. Initially the messaging will run only in online advertisements. Please print and review the one page guide for all the details on how the process works and what you can do to be prepared when a customer asks about it.

From the Experts: Never Say, "I Don't Know"
Responding to a customer's questions with "I don't know" can turn a potentially profitable conversation into a horribly unprofitable failure. Never tell a customer you don't know something, even if it's true.
You're more likely to successfully upsell or cross-sell to the customer by acknowledging that the question is a good one and then finding the answer. Give the customer a time frame for when you'll contact her with the information and be sure to follow through with the information promised.
